Getting Started

Getting started is easy! Download FamilyPilot from the App Store, create your account, and set up your first family circle. You can then invite your co-parent to join and start using all the features right away.

Once you've created your account and family circle, go to Settings and tap "Invite Co-Parent." You can send an invitation via email or share a unique invite code. Your co-parent will receive instructions to download the app and join your circle.

Yes, both co-parents need their own Premium subscription to access Premium features. However, invited family members and friends (like grandparents, nannies, or other caregivers) do not need to pay - they can join your circle for free.

FamilyPilot is currently available on iOS (iPhone and iPad). We're working hard on our Android version and expect to launch it soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when it's available.

Features

The free version includes one family circle, shared calendar, secure messaging, audio calls, child profiles, and basic activity tracking. It's everything you need to get started with effective co-parenting communication.

Premium adds video calls, call recordings, multiple family circles, the ability to invite family members and friends, and priority customer support.

Yes! FamilyPilot allows you to export your complete message history as a professional PDF document. This can be useful for legal proceedings, mediation, or simply keeping records.

The shared calendar shows custody schedules, appointments, school events, and activities. Both parents can add events, and changes sync instantly. You can also set up recurring custody schedules that automatically appear on the calendar.

Privacy & Security

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (256-bit AES) to protect all your data. Your messages, photos, and personal information are encrypted both in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Your co-parent can only see shared content within your family circle—messages you send, shared calendar events, and child profile updates. They cannot see your account settings, notifications, or any private notes you may keep.

If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Shared content (like messages and calendar events) will remain visible to other members of your family circle.

Billing & Subscriptions

FamilyPilot offers a generous free plan with all essential features. Premium is £6.99 per month or £69.99 per year (save 17%). Only one parent needs Premium for the whole family to benefit.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store, so refund requests must be made through Apple. Apple typically grants refunds for recent purchases made in error.

Yes! New users can try Premium features free for 7 days. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the subscription plan you selected.
